Buen Fin with ADO: what to know
Buen Fin is Mexico’s biggest shopping weekend, held every November, a little like Black Friday. ADO joins every year, and for 2026 it says its main lines will offer special prices on selected routes.
ADO fares change with demand and with how early you buy. A limited number of seats on many departures are sold at lower advance-purchase fares, and during Buen Fin there may be extra offers. These seats go first, so the earlier you book, the more choice you usually have.
- Compare dates and times: fares on the same route can change from one day or departure to the next.
- Plan the holidays now: buses are busiest from about December 18 to January 6, especially to the Caribbean coast, Oaxaca and back to Mexico City.
- Use the long weekend: Monday, November 16 is a public holiday, a good time for a short trip.
- Check the final price: any discount available for your trip is already included in the price you see before you pay.
Booking from outside Mexico?
ADO International lets you book ADO tickets in English and many other languages and pay in your own currency, so you can secure Buen Fin fares for a trip later in the year from wherever you are.
Your digital boarding pass is sent by email. Keep your passport with you on board, and plan around high season if you are travelling at Christmas or New Year.
